India’s journey as a republic has been shaped by resilience, steady progress, and a growing role on the global stage. As the country celebrates 75 years of becoming a republic, this diamond-jubilee year invites us to look back at what has been achieved and to focus on the path ahead.

Guided by India’s civilizational worldview of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam the idea that the world is one family this conference seeks to explore how India’s development and global engagement can unfold through partnership, dialogue and shared responsibility.

In this historic moment, FCCI is hosting its International Conference to examine how the Indian diaspora can help drive India’s transformation into a developed nation by 2047, when the country completes 100 years of independence. FCCI brings together diaspora leaders, diplomats, policymakers and experts to reflect on India’s journey as a republic, examine global shifts, and explore the role of the diaspora in strengthening India’s partnerships in Europe and beyond.

The proposed International Conference will focus on the following themes:

India & Indian Diaspora: A Bond Beyond Borders
1. The Developed Nation (Vikasit Bharat): Roadmap to India’s Future by 2047
2. The New World Order: Democratic India’s Role as Global Consensus Builder

Join us as we come together to craft a vision for India 2047, where the global Indian Diaspora
plays a pivotal role in further fuelling India’s growth and enhancing its global standing through
its knowledge, resources, and networking. Through insightful talks and panel discussions
featuring policymakers, experts, and prominent members of the diaspora, let us reaffirm our
commitment to a shared future anchored in unity, diversity, and progress.
