Why a diaspora think-tank
The Indian diaspora, with its global exposure, experiences and networks, can catalyse India’s transformation. Through research, dialogue, policy advocacy, community-building and collaboration with business and institutions, FCCI strives to be a lasting bridge between India and the world.
Guided by India’s civilisational idea of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam the world as one family FCCI promotes dialogue, cooperation and shared learning across societies, cultures and economies.
FCCI reflects India’s plural identity by engaging perspectives across culture, region, generation, migration histories and professional backgrounds, while working collectively toward shared national objectives.
Trustees
The Trustees of FCCI represent a distinguished group of professionals and leaders from across the Indian diaspora in the Netherlands, including members of the Suriname–Indian community. Each trustee brings deep expertise in their field, alongside global experience shaped by living and working across cultures. Reflecting the Indian ethos of “unity in diversity,” trustees come from varied backgrounds, generations and perspectives, yet share a common purpose to contribute thoughtfully to India’s progress and global engagement. Serving in an individual and independent capacity beyond any personal political preference or affiliation, they work collectively to strengthen Indo-Dutch ties and advance the mission of this long-standing diaspora think-tank.
