Mr. Jasbir Singh is the director of the law firm (ltd) Roest Singh Advocates. He is the first Indian lawyer as well as the first Indian national to be elected to the local government body in the Netherlands.
He is the president of the think tank Foundation for Critical Choices for India and founder-president of the Foundation for Indian Diaspora in Europe. He was the founder-president of the Indian Welfare Association. He was also nominated a member of the Governing Council of the Overseas Indian Facilitation Center. Jasbir Singh got his bachelor’s degree with ‘honours’ from GNU, India and did LLM (with an academic record) from the University of Leiden.
